Acino Healthcare Group, formally South Africa’s Litha Healthcare Group, consisting of Litha Pharma, Pharmaplan, Pharmafrica, Goldex and Manta forensic, was acquired by Acino Pharma AG in 2017. This acquisition provided Acino with immediate access to and a strong presence in the Southern African market. Also a key step for Acino, as it helped to strengthen it’s position in the African pharmaceutical landscape and, in turn, make advanced healthcare products and expertise accessible.
